9:30 PM  The Hoodoo Loungers

As huge fans of the music of New Orleans and Northern Louisiana band leaders DAVID DEITCH (Tom Jones Orchestra), & JOE LAURO (Lone Sharks, Moondogs) decided it was time that the North East had a genuine New Orleans style party band. Selecting the very best New Orleans songs and artists to cover was the first and easiest part. Finding New York area musicians who could play in those styles was more difficult. After many months of searching for the right musicians the HOODOO lineup was completed in the summer of 2010. Since then we have performed regularly at THE RODEO BAR ( NYC), BEACH BLAST A-GO-GO, BAY STREET THEATER and several other concert and night club venues. The band includes DAWNETTE DARDEN on Vocals, MARVIN JOSHUA on vocals, DAVID DEITCH - Piano/arranger, Joe Lauro- Bass/Vocals, Michael Schiano - Guitar/Vocals, David Giaconne - Drums,Brian Sears - Tenor & Baritone Saxophones, and a horn section that includes Bob Hovey - Trombone, Gary Henderson - Trumpet, Brian Sears - Tenor Sax We are a new band looking to a future of great concert, party and festival performances!
