Phil Varca - 7:30PM

Phil Varca & The SlamJammers is a powerful rockin' blues band. They can rock thunderously with driving rhythms that will shake you out of your seat then quickly downshift into low and display sensitive, evocative playing with their soulful emoting. The group's raw, guitar driven grooves and energy creates a big sound but with no frills. Audiences identify and respond to this energy. For them, it is truly a cathartic experience.

Indigenous - 8:30PM

Front man, Mato Nanji, was born and raised on the Yankton Sioux Reservation in South Dakota. The group’s music is motivated not only by blues and rock greats, such as Jimi Hendrix, Carlos Santana, Stevie Ray Vaughn, and B.B. King, but also by the social issues and cultural bonds of the Mato’s Nakota roots. Mato has also picked up a devoted audience as a featured member of the annually sold out Hendrix Experience Tour since 2002, and side projects with Otis Taylor and Noah Hunt of Kenny Wayne Shepard’s band. They have won Native American Music Awards for blues recording of the year as well as artists of the year.
