THIS EVENT IS 21 AND OVER
8:15 PM  Space
For over a dozen years, Andrew Buttermilch, Joseph Gallo, and Evan Wildstein have performed under the moniker “SPACE.” Touting influences from Matchbox 20 to Mozart to McCartney, the trio have performed throughout the tri-state area since 2004 for intimate college radio station crowds to larger-scale festivals.
The New Students are a Brooklyn-based band with one foot in the 21st century and the other firmly planted in traditional American folk music. With their uplifting harmonies and thoughtful lyrics, The New Students are a delight to audiences young and old in New York, Long Island and faraway towns on the East Coast. They have just released their second album, When the West Wind Blows, available on iTunes.
Cool rock n' roll to eat sandwiches to.
Mild Things is a Brooklyn-based 4 piece Rock & Roll/Folk Rock band that have been known to mix setlists with story songs, dark ballads, fun rock n’ roll and the occasional corny joke as stage banter.
11:15 PM  Striking Copper
Striking Copper is a rock/folk rock band hailing out of Wilmington, North Carolina fronted by redheaded twin sisters.
Raised by musically inclined and/or enthusiastic families, with ever encouraging parents, the band’s cradle was rocked by the hands of legends like Pink Floyd, Jimi Hendrix, Joni Mitchell, Journey, Fleetwood Mac, CSNY, Earth Wind and Fire and Led Zeppelin, among others. Now that they have developed their own musical taste, Striking Copper is continually inputting their music database with contemporary artists and gaining insight and influence from all genres, old and new. The band believes music is a way in which to tell a story. It’s not just what the story is about, but it’s how you present it, and how you preserve it.
