THIS EVENT IS 21 AND OVER

8 PM  Heresy Ressurected

Heresy played Long Island frequently in the 70s and 80s as a classic/progressive rock cover band, and was voted one of the best bands on the island in the Good Times’ readers poll. They are well-known also as a Jethro Tull tribute band, having been featured at numerous Jethro Tull conventions over the years. They also released two original albums, “At The Door” (with guest guitarist Steve Vai) and “A Far Cry” (currently available on Amazon and Spotify). Now back together after many years, Heresy is pleased to bring their mix of originals, Jethro Tull, and more to 89 North for the first time!

9:30 PM  Willy & The Poor Boys

From 1969 to 1972 there was arguably no bigger and better American band than Creedence Clearwater Revival. After cutting their teeth at Woodstock, the band went on to record three Top Ten albums in 1969. A tour of Europe and Asia followed but by 1972 Creedence was no more. Their music lives on forever in our hearts and in our souls.

Willy and the Poor Boys proudly pays tribute to this classic and timeless American band fondly known to those as CCR.

We hope to see you at one of our shows where we hope you will agree that this is Creedence played right.

11:00 PM Sunset Rebels

Their genre is the best of current and not so current blues and rock. The Sunset Rebels are devoted to bringing their audiences a high energy mix of earthy blues and hard driving rock with a touch of funk where needed. Consisting of Caitlin Bement on lead vocals, Ron Rahilly on guitar and vocals, Frank Bisceglia on Bass, Tony Campo on keyboards and Jon Sheckler on drums, this band is preparing to take on the Long Island and NY scenes . Each member has a list of credentials and experience that can often be credited to national acclaim. "This project officially gained momentum only a few months back when we first started to put members together in the spring of 2014".
Caitlin Bement's dynamic vocal range is well supported by an outstanding rhythm section laid down by Sheckler and Bisceglia while Campo and Rahilly offer keys and guitars filled with rock/blues color, style and feel.
